About the author
Apostle Russ Moyer is presently a missionary / evangelist in Ontario, Canada. He is the founder and president of Eagle Worldwide Ministries. Since his arrival in Canada in October of 2000, he has established the Eagle Traveling Team which has visited more than 180 churches in North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. He also founded the Eagle Worldwide Retreat and Revival Centre, a beautiful 50+ acre parcel of ground in Copetown, Ontario where annually Summer Camp Tent meetings July through Labour Day along with special conferences and events such as Parade of the Nations, School of the Prophets, and The Elisha Leadership Mentoring Intern Program for youth and young adults.
Russ and his wife Mave have pioneered eight churches in southern Ontario, and are the senior pastors of both The Revival Centre in Hamilton and Eagles' Nest Fellowship in Ancaster. They also provide spiritual covering and apostolic oversight for eight other churches and more than 100 ministers through the Eagle Worldwide Network of Ministries. In May of 2005, John Kelly, C. Peter Wagner and the International Coalition of Apostles commissioned Russ in his apostolic calling and office.
Russ and Mave have a heart to see revival in people groups all over the earth. The Lord continues to open doors for them to minister to indigenous people groups such as the Inuit in the Arctic, the First Nations people in Hawaii, here in Ontario, and in Saskatchewan. In January of 2009 they birthed a First Nations church on the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario. They have also ministered extensively to Africans, Portuguese, French, and the Gypsy Roma peoples.
They are also the founders of Eagle Worldwide Foundation, and The Centre for Excellence which provides empowerment, educational, and training programs for the underprivileged. This project includes the founding of The King’s Way Blessing Centre where they feed and service over 250 clients per day free of charge in the inner city of Hamilton.
Brother Russ and Mave also birthed Spirit Ministries Training Centre, a 2 year practical ministry Bible school focusing on solid biblical foundations and the impartation and moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Russ was a successful businessman for over 21 years and was the recipient of many honors in the business community. He was the founder, president, and CEO of a number of security related businesses, and at one time employed more than two hundred people. He also was the executive producer and host of a weekly, one-hour television program, which dealt with some of the serious issues facing American families, emphasizing Christian values.
In 1997 he traveled to Pensacola, Florida to attend the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. He graduated in December 1999 and was ordained by Ruth Ward Heflin through Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Ashland, Virginia. Brother Russ is used heavily in the prophetic, deliverance, and healing ministries. He has a heart to see revival in Canada and the nations.
