About the author

Born in the Bronx in 1961, Mr. Altman is now retired in Virginia.  His career included being a chef, a salesperson, and a business software expert.  He has a degree with honors and many other professional certifications.  He sometimes jokes, I've done a hundred things.

He started songwriting in high school and has continued his art as a hobby, now for decades. His works include non-fiction and editorial pieces, music, lyrics, poetry, digital art, recipes, and business writing. His publisher, Secret Studio, LLC, owns all his art and has licensed it for various uses.

Using a very well worn trope, The author uses Uncle Lee, a fictional persona, to narrate and interact with both child and adult, alike. He has chosen only the very happiest works of [Mr. Altman's catalog] to share with others.

Mr. Altman continues to record new music, write, cook, volunteer, and take photographs.
