About the author
Recently, Kristopher has been published by Aviva New York on his first book titled: Navigating Your Mind: Achieving a Life of Peace, Joy and Happiness. Kristopher holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has eighteen years’ experience helping people work through their worries and concerns, and guiding them to achieve remarkable success. His mission is to introduce people to proven methods, skills, and scientific knowledge to face fear, overcome problems, and create new visions so they can achieve greater peace in their minds, joy in their hearts, and happiness in their families and their lives.
Kris’ efforts and successes led to his appointment by the Governor of Idaho as Chairman to the State Board of Social Work Examiners. Kris also has served on the board of Help, Inc. His perspectives and philosophy have been featured at Idaho State University Workforce Training with live Webinars, at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), at the Department of Energy, the Department of the Navy, Health and Welfare, Al-Anon, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and in Head Start programs.
Kristopher discovered his life purpose of helping others as the result of his own difficulties early in life, including being misplaced in special education classes and being regarded as incapable of achieving anything in his life. After facing his adversities, turning around his situation, and determining his goals, Kristopher was motivated to use what he had learned to help others. That dream has led him down the path to becoming a psychotherapist, author, consultant, and motivational speaker.
Kristopher finds great joy in his work. He has stated, “What lights me up about this work is knowing I have solutions to many problems that motivate people to better themselves. What sets me apart from other people is that I listen to what the true problems are and come up with specific solutions that create change in organizations and lives.”
Kristopher’ clients have found that working with him has led them from barely coping with life to living life on their own terms with hope and joy. One client told him when she heard he was writing a book:
Thank you for sticking with me for ALL these years, thank you for teaching me, helping me, caring for me, and getting me through the garbage! I am facing my future now with optimism, contentment, and fortitude. I am grateful to you for your frankness, expertise, and understanding. If not for you, I would be grieving and berating myself and I thank you for that. Really Kris, you saved my life, and gave my kids a chance! Your message works! I want to thank you for the valuable insights you gave me during our sessions and most of all for the peace of mind your wise counsel gave me. I can’t wait to read your book and give it to everyone I know. Best wishes with your book, lecturing, and touring. Dr. Phil has nothing on you!
