About the author
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, I spent my childhood years in Washington exploring the wildlife around me. I come from a family of six with a rich background in art. Returning home to Missouri at the age of 14, I discovered my passion for photography upon
experimenting with the camera gear of my older brother and studying the photographs of the well known photographer Ansel Adams.
Under the watchful eye of my father who bought me my first camera, I was encouraged from the beginning to pursue photography. I studied under a photography teacher for two years who later became my mentor. Upon graduating, I continued my studies under a commercial photographer from Belton, Missouri.
I am deeply inspired by the environment around me and I strive to photograph wildlife and scenery in its true representation. It is through my personal works that my true character emerges. My wish is that my first book will emerge as a record of the beauty that exists around us.
I hope it inspires you to explore and preserve the precious resources for the creatures that inhabit this earth.
