Description
Natural Friends is a children's book written and illustrated by Amy Weber-Cantrell that follows a displaced frog named Phthalo Green who finds a new home in Hopps Valley. On the first day of school, he is surprised to discover that he is the only frog. Phthalo isn't accepted at first, but when he meets a rabbit named Sienna in art class, they form a lasting friendship proving that two very different creatures can be best friends.
About the author
Amy Weber-Cantrell is a National Board Certified Art Teacher and earned a degree in Curriculum and Instruction in the Arts. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in public schools and was the 2013 Washington Art Education Association Secondary Art Educator of the Year. She is a published artist in the book, "Surreal Photography: Creating the Impossible." Amy lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and four rescue rabbits.
