Natural Field

A New Fundamental Entity of Nature

by Debabrata Saha

Book Image Not Available Book Image Not Available
Overview

Contemporary Physics is mostly inherited from twentieth century that is governed by four fundamental forces, namely, Gravitation, Coulomb, Strong and Weak forces. In the second decade of this century, however, a new fundamental entity named Natural Field has been found. Natural field is found in a systematic logical search for mitigating a list of shortcomings of contemporary physics. This new field distinguishes itself from existing four fundamentals in its ability of causing induction and self-interference. This book introduces Natural Field to the researchers of scientific community and common people with thirsts for knowledge about nature.

Since the conception of the law of reflection of light, over last two thousand years, we remained unable to derive this law starting from the root cause. Natural field proves itself to be the root cause of reflection and refraction of light. Laws of optics, such as reflection, refraction, interference, and diffraction of light all directly follow from Natural Field theory which characterizes light as particle, not wave.

Diffraction of electron is also guided by Natural Field. This field exhibits characteristics common to both light and matter particle, and provides a unification of matter and light.

On the other hand, wave particle duality which laid the foundation and propelled the boat of Quantum Mechanics for almost a century proves itself to be non-existent in nature; this makes Max Born's probabilistic world vanish into thin air and Niels Bohr's complementarity principle merely irrelevant. Such state of affairs over inherited twentieth century advances is best described as a detour in twenty first century Physics. Study of implications of this detour in other areas of science, such as Quantum Chemistry, Action at a Distance, Astronomy and Cosmology, Nanotechnology and Molecular Biology may possibly shade new light.Development of natural field appears to be a precursor to an entry into a new deterministic world of nature.

About the author

Debabrata Saha is a research scientist and a teacher who most recently taught as Adjunct Professor in NIT, Karnataka, India. Before this, he taught for twenty-one years as a tenured-member of a faculty, and, thereafter, worked as President of a consulting firm, both in USA. He is a former Chairman of Washington D.C. – Northern Virginia Section of IEEE Information Theory Society, USA.

His academic background includes earned degrees in (1) Science – B.Sc., Physics (Calcutta University), (2) Technology – B.Tech., Radio Physics and Electronics (Calcutta University), (3) Applied Science – M.A.Sc., Communication (University of Toronto), (4) Engineering – PhD, Computer, Information and Control Engineering (University of Michigan).

His research interests include 'Theoretical Physics' and 'Information Computing'. His interest in Physics led to the finding of Natural Field, a new fundamental force of nature that needs further exploration. A deterministic measure of information, different from conventional Shannon measure, introduced by him, led to an Information Computing Machine (ICM) capable of analyzing an entire genome and revealing the set of working symbols of genome language. This set is the 'First Footprint of Nature' in its design of human beings. His current research emphases include Natural Field and Development of ICM with application to Genomics and Health Research.
