Description
Napoleon Hummingbird Learns to Share teaches young children the value of sharing in a fun, clever way as seen through the eyes of the appealing hummingbird characters that author J.W. Hutchinson has created. Citing classic children's books by P.D. Eastman and Dr. Seuss as artistic influences from his own childhood, author and illustrator J.W. Hutchinson brings a warmth and familiarity to the colorful characters in his debut picture book. If you have a hummingbird feeder at your house and enjoy watching their playful antics, this delightfully illustrated and humorous book is a must for you and your family!
About the author
J. W. Hutchinson has always been very artistic and would often win drawing contests in elementary school. As a teenager, he chose making music as his primary creative focus - first as a Rock musician, then as a music educator, and most recently as the Children's music artist Boris Loves Trucks. When a fierce little hummingbird began taking up residency in J.W.'s backyard, it inspired him to create the story and illustrations in his debut picture book Napoleon Hummingbird Learns to Share. J.W. and his nature-loving family live in sunny Southern California, where many hummingbirds visit their feeder all year long.
