This is my debut children's book, My Whole Heart. In it, a little girl diagnosed at birth with a Congenital Heart Defect, learns about what that means for her as well as her family. It talks about, through a child's perspective, her life leading up to her heart surgery. This story also introduces, child friendly, heart anatomy terms teaching about a normal heart vs. a special heart like hers. She learns also, what it means to embrace her unique new attribute that she received from surgery. It is a story for all children, teaching them to find beauty in what makes them different while educating children on a specific heart health issue.

About The Author

Chiandria Beauford was born in Germany and raised in Atlanta, GA, the "Peach State" capitol. As a college student, in South Georgia, Chiandria earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and developed her passion in inspiring children. This passion was joined with a purpose after her daughter was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect. Incredibly impacted by her child's strength and others like her, she was driven to tell her story. If Chiandria isn't spending time with family and friends, you can find her traveling or enjoying the great outdoors. My Whole Heart, is her Chiandria's first book.
