Description

The soul is a beautiful garden that grows and changes throughout the seasons and storms of our lifetime. There are seasons where seeds are planted, seasons that bear much fruit and seasons of rest where the soil quietly awaits its next crop. In this book the reader will find a twelve week journaling experience aimed at unpacking grief from past events, learning the skills needed to carry grief with honor in day to day life and the introduction of tools needed to help bolster them through future seasons of transitional grief. The book includes ample space for journaling through each day and supportive Bible scriptures and prayer to close out each day's activity.

About The Author

Born in the Caribbean and raised all up and down the Eastern Coast of the United States, Alyson spent much of her childhood exploring new places mesmerized by God's handiwork in both the landscapes and the people she met along the way. She is never far from a drawing pad, a set of pencils and a quiet outdoor nook where she can tuck in and attempt to capture the beauty of God's creation all around her. After ten years as a wellness Coach, Alyson felt called to write My Wellness Garden out of a desire to help others weather the storms of grief that flow in and out of life and attempt to negate the joy and peace that are ever present even in our most difficult seasons. Upon completion of a Grief and Trauma certification course, and weathering one of the deepest seasons of transitional grief in her own life, Alyson recognized the need for a space to process grief at your own pace and in your own timing so you can then get the most out of therapy and healing when you find yourself ready.
