Margaret Miller is a writer from Texas. She received her BFA in Drama at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and her MFA in Playwriting at the Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin. She has been featured on RTE Radio Drama and written about music for various publications, including Hot Press Ireland. She has written two short films "Descend" and "The Piece" which have been featured at multiple film festivals. She is based in Louisville with her partner Stephen and her dog Rosie.

A collection of student poetry written by the third grade students of Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School (LPAS) in Louisville, Kentucky. Written works are paired with professional portrait photography by Megan Resch. The purpose of this book is to serve as platform for students to explore, in their own words, why their teachers are important to them. This was created by a program called Poetry For Peace, which is housed out of Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School located in Louisville, Kentucky. LPAS is the first public elementary performing arts concept school in Kentucky. Lincoln emphasizes a strong academic program in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. The academic areas are integrated with drama, music, and dance. The curriculum ensures that students experience the entire performing arts process from behind-the-scenes to on-stage performances. Community partnerships with leading art groups provide experiences that are like no other. The result is a rich, engaging, and powerful instructional program that provides a learning environment unlike any other.
