The condition left him partially paralyzed in his left arm and leg. He also had disabling cognitive defects. After months of rehabilitation he regained functions and the ability to walk with a cane. Upon release from the hospital he was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. My Stroke of Fate is a detailed account of the day-to-day struggles due to brain injury and cancer. The author invites individuals who have suffered a brain trauma to enter his own recovery. His intention is to give them encouragement for the future.
About the author
Stephen Archer has been interested in writing since he was in grade school. In high school he had a short story published by one of his teachers. He holds a degree in Elected Studies from the University of Minnesota. He was a residential real estate agent for 25 years. Stephen Archer lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his family.
