My Seedie Life

Although I've had various titles, roles and responsibilities throughout my professional career, I'll always be a "seedsman" at heart. Seeds can provide the world with possibilities and seeds have provided a world of possibilities to me and my family. I always told my daughters as they were growing up to eat your vegetables as this is our life. Respect the power of a seed.

Whether I assessed the seed by cracking them between my teeth when I was young, or study them under a microscope as I do now, it's still the seeds themselves that intrigue me; how to improve their strength, their yield, and their potential. Whether it's the potential of a seed, or the potential of an idea. I'm always interested in enhancing their performance. I'm always looking toward the future to create a better way. I'm thankful to each and every "enabler"; those who have helped me to strive to do better. Perhaps the best way I can honor them is to become an "enabler" myself.

Seed has been my life and I greatly appreciate the opportunities and relationships the Seed Industry has provided. Sowing seed of commitment and cooperation. Yielding harvest for a life time.
