About The Author

Keisha McGeachy was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. She is the youngest sibling of two daughters. Her passion for creative writing began when she took a writing class at St. Mary's College of MD, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Afterwards, she graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore with a Master's degree in social work. In her spare time, she is a part of the Maryland Writers Association, enjoys traveling internationally and domestically, salsa dancing, exercising, being an advocate for people with disabilities, and children's ministry.

"My Little Red Bear" -- Excellent read for both kids and adults I've been a huge supporter of Keisha's literature. She touches on a number of social topics with this great read of "My Little Red Bear." This books is not only a great read for children, but even grown adults could learn how to teach their children about the rigors of growing up in a diverse society, how to co-exist with others and use critical thinking skills to solve complex issues. The illustrations add to the book's overall message. Highly recommend. Read more
