My Life's Journey!!

My Life's Journey is a nonfiction book in the form of poems and short stories based on events that took place in my life and how I was able to get through them. The events that took place made "great" positive changes in my life! Now I look at life with the glass half-full instead of half-empty. Because if you look at the glass half full, you have room to grow or add to your life!!

My life's journey has made me a stronger individual. I would like to say my pain gave me the mindset and the courage to say,"NO MORE!"and to make the necessary changes in my life!

My name is Carolyn Hayes, I'm 64 years old. I was born in North Carolina, raised in Camden New Jersey. I'm a spiritual person, loving and caring individual. I'm family oriented. I have three adult children. Seven great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. I started to write stories and poems when I felt like my life was falling apart! I was raised by a single parent who made me a strong individual! Writing about my feelings and emotions helped me to become even stronger! I'm hoping this book can help someone else through their healing process!!
