Overview
Ramsey is an energetic and independent boy who enjoys being a kid. Bedtime can be exciting, too, especially when it involves reading books. Unfortunately, he struggles to fall asleep on his own. One day he figures out a way to solve this problem, and decides to share it with the world!
Description
Bedtime can be a struggle for many children and their parents. While the rituals leading up to falling asleep can be standardized, many kids still have a tough time falling asleep, especially on their own. Ramsey is one such kid. When he was four and a half years old he had an epiphany - the levels of sleep! Read along as Ramsey describes the steps he goes through in order to fall asleep on his own. Each level allows a kid to gain independence and confidence as they navigate this process. In his dreams, Ramsey becomes a toy soldier, his toys become imposing characters, and over their journey they discover friendship and arrive in a peaceful and wondrous place where independent sleepers are rewarded.
About the author
Ramsey was born in Pasadena, California and grew up in Claremont, California. He is a happy and enthusiastic boy who enjoys reading about historical figures, creating music, exploring the worlds of Star Wars, and hanging out with his family. He currently lives in Seattle, Washington.
