My Heroes and Their Stories of Survival

This book is a collection of my patients' stories detailing their lives during World War II. Their unique experiences as participants,prisoners of war and survivors are truly thought provoking and inspiring.

During the course of my career as a dentist caring for Americas' veterans, it became apparent with time that many of them felt comfortable sharing their unique stories with me. Some even suggested that something should be done to record and share this information with others interested in the legacy of their stories. And so this labor of love was completed in recognition of their sacrifices.

The author is a retired dentist who worked for thirty eight years caring for American veterans while working for the Veterans Administration. He is the father of a son and daughter and grandfather of three wonderful children. He currently resides in upstate New York with his wife Deborah and continues to enjoy many hobies including skiing,golf,fishing and biking.
