Overview
"MY FATHERS WORLD" (1891-1921) A young naval officer in the Russian Imperial Navy would experience a World War, a revolution, a counter- insurgency, stand up to a homicidal bully only to lose his command to a mutinous crew and then flee to China. Then returning to Russia during "The Great Famine" to rescue his wife from the Bolsheviks, he would end up on a "Death March" to Siberia only to reunite with her later to continue their flight to freedom across Russia together and end up in Shanghai China. As all of this would happen before he was even 30 years old, it would leave him to wonder…What else was in store for them as they restarted new lives, with new names and in a new country on a small island off the coast of China in 1921? "I have a promise to keep…and miles to go before I sleep." (1921-1966) Paul and Anna have come to an island off the coast of a new country with new names and hopefully a new future in search of freedom after escaping the Bolsheviks back in Russia. With the help of the 'Freemasons' along with Russian and British communities, they will make their lives over and each would establish themselves either in the maritime industry or the art business. While Anna would busy herself with her art and a client base, Paul would eventually get his sea legs back and be called upon to do multiple maritime tasks in their new home and community. Paul's adventures would indeed continue but instead of taking lives, Paul would now be saving them while risking his own up until one fateful night. From escaping communism to fleeing fascism, dangerous circumstances would bring Paul and Anna to America. Shortly after their arrival, Paul would undergo five winters of discontent until one fateful day in October of 1945. Starting a third new life with a new partner and family, Paul would discover that no matter how far you run, "the wolf is always at the door…always!" "WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU…MAKES YOU STRONGER?"
