Overview

After decades of war and insurgency, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict throws together two men from opposing sides. These two men yearn for the best for their people and an eventual peace. Overcoming initial mistrust, resentment and myopic views, they realize they; like most of their people, just want to live in a peaceful land with respect and dignity that is deserving of all humans who each possess their own individual self-worth.

Description

Major David Regev is a decorated Israeli commando who has spent years infiltrating enemy cells and assassinating individuals deemed a threat to the existence of Israel. Hussein Ramdan is an Oxford Educated surgeon from Palestine; returning to his homeland to make a difference. Hussein's quiet demeanor belies a strength of character that will stand up to any threat and who is challenging the status quo to do what he thinks is best for his people. Both men see what they are doing as necessary for their people but struggle to see how peace can be attained when the hatred and mistrust in the region has festered for a century. Through a series of fateful events that put them front and center in the conflict they realize that through all the hatred, distrust, disdain and pain…they are after all…..brothers.
