Mundanity
by Jonathan Carreau

Overview

Vince Patelo is not like anyone you know. He has green skin. His eyes are black polka dots. He lives on a planet called Dert. He mines quadlithium for a living. His neighbors own pet aardvarks. He lives in a city named Mundanity. Yet in many other ways, Vince is more like you, an earthling, than you realize. He struggles with work, bills, loneliness, injuries, and mistakes all too common to people his age. As if that weren't enough, the city of Mundanity is currently undergoing an election to determine a new mayor, one that threatens to undo the fragile bindings of peace, for even on an alien world populated by humanoids with no knowledge of Earth, none can escape the conflict of political disagreements. Vince must make sense of everything going on around him if he is to survive in a world that is anything but mundane.
