Overview
This short story is about three boys who set out to solve a mystery. How and why has their teacher turned into a giant bee? The coloured illustrations add much to an imaginative plot which, like all good mysteries, encourages its readers to form their own ideas as to what might or might not have gone on behind the scenes.
Description
The main character, a young impressionable boy named Max, is convinced his teacher is a bee. He persuades his two closest friends to join him in what proves to be a strange adventure. As the story progresses, the reader is drawn into a world which only a youthful and vibrant imagination can describe. Children, reading the book for themselves, will have no difficulty in recognising this world. Adults reading the book to their children will find it a pleasant and amusing experience, which might well bring back to them memories of their own youthful fantasies.
About the author

Daniel Conington wrote his book when he was nine years old.  He is now ten and rightfully proud of his achievement, as is his teacher Mr. Johnson who very kindly gave the work an excellent review and read it to his class over a period of several days.  Daniel's classmates were impressed and very genuine in their congratulations.
