Alicia Gargaro-Magaña is a writer, executive producer, and owner of Magnificent Arts, the new arm of Pictures of Los Angeles, Inc., a production and publishing company she has built with help of her husband, television editor and creator Eduardo Magaña. She began her journey as a film student at NYU in the late 1980s, where she held her first job as an assistant in the publicity department at the renowned Crown Publishers in New York City. Alicia has had many exciting adventures since then, including helping to produce Academy Award®-winning film, “What Dreams May Come” with the lovely Robin Williams; writing and producing for Deepak Chopra’s premier website MyPotential.com, and writing for several magazines. For the last few years, she has produced many reality television series, “American Idol” with the Ford Motor Company, and welcomed celebrity talent on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” all the while capturing lots of photographs. Now achieving her dream of adding publishing to her company, MISS FANCY PANTS is her first novel, with MISS FANCY ALL AT SEA to follow. SPLENDID is a collection of sorts. All of these can be enjoyed on a train, plane, hike, or rocket ship.
