By sharing a deeply personal story, one rarely revealed to anyone, the narrator embarks on a mission to pull a friend back from the edge. This is not merely a story about suicide and despair, but about courage, resilience, and the fragile power of words. About The Author

CLIFF MAKSUSHIMAT is an American writer based in Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic and a Master's in Healthcare from California State University, Los Angeles. He has self-published all his works as the only option available, hoping to find a publisher in the future. He spent 15 years completing this fourth novel, based on real events, which he considers his most challenging work to date. Cliff has adopted a distinctive writing style that is raw, descriptive, and deeply humanistic, exploring mental health and real human struggles, while never losing the subtle touch of love that weaves through his stories. He is finishing his fifth novel, which could possibly be released next year and, for the first time, will feature a female protagonist in a profoundly heart-wrenching narrative.
