About the author
Lynn Macksey is a healthcare professional, published author, and public speaker. She has written four books and numerous peer-reviewed journal articles all in the field of anesthesia. Lynn's first, best-selling book has been translated into Korean and Chinese. All of her books are sold internationally and are required texts in multiple anesthesia programs throughout the world. Lynn is also a contributing author for other publications. She has worked as a nurse since 1979, first as an LPN and EMT; later, she earned her RN from the University of Florida, her MSN from the University of Pittsburgh, becoming a licensed and practicing CRNA in 2006.
