About the author
Dr. Tommy Ray O'Dell, grandson of Evangelist Dr. T.L. Osborn, began traveling the world, reaching out to hurting people, at the age of 16. On May 8, 1981, after a prolonged drug binge and overdose, panicked friends pushed his body out of their car and drove off, knowing they would never see him again alive.
While his spirit slipped from his body, Tommy Ray shouted the name of Jesus. The love of God swept through him like a blazing fire. Instantly his spirit re-entered his body. Weeping uncontrollably, with his brain cells restored, he experienced his first genuine encounter with the living God! Tommy Ray declared his new life in Christ boldly, "I'm free! I'm free! Satan, I'll never be your slave again!"
By the age of 19, Tommy Ray and his wife Elisabeth, were already conducting massive miracle crusades and concerts in Africa and South America, combining Rhythm and Blues with the Gospel message. Now, after 27 years of ever increasing zeal, Dr. Tommy Ray has literally proclaimed and sung the Good News to the millions in over 80 nations, targeting the most wretched and unreached of the world, including the 10/40 window. Both at home and abroad, Dr. Tommy Ray O'Dell's ministry expresses the love and miracle power of Christ. Whether in a U.S.A. church among believers, or on a crude platform among the unreached, the Gospel of Jesus is presented with clarity and boldness, resulting in miracles and transformed lives.
