About the author
Michael Rowland Jr. was born on February 26, 1991. In high school he studied engineering and architecture. He then studied visual arts and film at Duke University, still applying his love for architecture and engineering in his designs. While taking a course on the ethics of education administration, Michael discovered a new passion for helping educate young children. During his senior year at Duke he wrote and illustrated “Mikey the Mouse and The Three Cats”, the first story of The Amazing Pet Shop series. Michael’s goal is to educate children of ethical knowledge and the application of critical thinking for problem solving.
