Tricked by Chenor, the genie trapped within the pen, Alex and his best friend Jacob are flung into another world, where beings of mythology and legend have lived for thousands of years untouched. Now they will need all the help they can get returning back to where they belong, to include the sly genie himself. But there is more to their journey than simply returning home; dangerous enemies lay in their path, and something much greater looms on the eventual horizon than mere monsters.

Jay was born as the third of five children to a pair of both exhausted and very proud parents. She spent most of her childhood in a town which, to most people, would be completely overlooked in the heart of the United States. After reaching adulthood, Ms. Elizabeth traveled most of Europe, seeking out information about the events that unfolded around Alexander Moore. Her search for answers still continues in Sweden, where she is presently residing.
