Michael has been well trained in the art of war and fighting by his father, even though he is only fifteen years old. As the youngest member of the patrol, Michael fights both men and wolves. teenage years. The hunting and fishing resort operated by his parents in the mountains of Washington State was an ideal setting to instill a sense of responsibility, leadership, and adventure—themes that he weaves into his writing. His favorite activities growing up were hunting, fishing, trapping, playing tennis, running cross country races, and for a summer, working a gold claim. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of Washington State University. He currently works and lives in Arkansas with his wife, Penny. They have two grown children. A Personal Note from Kurt: Hi!
