Overview
A humorous and in-depth look at the state of interstate driving in the 21st century. MERGE is a hilarious primer designed to amuse and inform anyone who ventures forth on the freeways of America.
Description
MERGE! is a candid and irreverent look at the state of modern-day interstate driving in America through the eyes of a professional truck driver with more than three million accident-free miles under his belt. From tailgaters to lane-hoppers, from semis to cell phones, this book takes you not only behind the wheel, but also inside the mind of the characters who inhabit today’s interstate highways. If you’ve ever driven the freeway you will instantly recognize and be amused by the cast of highway hooligans profiled in MERGE! From Left-lane Louie to the Semi Sumurai, you'll meet them all and find out what makes them tick. Written with a large dose of tongue-in-cheek, MERGE will amuse even the veteran driver. But this book will give you far more than just a few good laughs. You will also find invaluable driving tips and advice that will help you not only drive more safely, but also retain more of your sanity while you do. MERGE! will take you on the ride of your life - you will laugh, you may even cry, but one thing is certain: you will never look at your interstate drive the same way once you have read MERGE. Buckle up - it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
