Mercy for None

This story is unlike anything you have read before, just a small group of children growing up through the years, knowing only hate and violence on a daily basis. The tender years of their youth, being twisted and ground under the heels, of an ungodly maniac. Their hearts denied the love they so desperately needed. Replaced with depravity and torture instead. Eventually karma came and overtook the evil that ruled their lives. No one can see the inner damage, that long-term abuse inflicts, all seems well on the outside. But every day, those victims carry a heavy burden inside. Their hearts are battle-scarred, their minds troubled, emotional state fragile. What I describe here is nothing less than a crime. Taking action is not an option, it's a necessity. Society will try and "pass the torch" to the next generation. What happens if that generation cannot even handle their own problems? Yes, it will be a tidal wave of social destruction. All fueled by apathy, it is not convenient to care. Will it be any more convenient when nobody cares about you? Apathy has a price, it is about time everyone found out what it is.
