About the author
Robert Gilbert is an author (Megan's Love) and musician (Soft Tears...Megan's Theme), a native of Springfield, Illinois and graduate of Illinois State University. He is author of a collection of poetry entitled Our First Hour (featured in Megan's Love) and several Westerns. Following a stint in the entertainment, public relations and publishing industry, Gilbert turned his attention to writing. He is currently writing The Summer of 1947 and The Wayward Wind. Gilbert resides in the Chicago area.
