About the author


Peggy Ludington is a true Renaissance woman—a lawyer, writer, artist, farmer, environmental activist, wife, and mother. However, the path to this fruitful life was rocky. Growing up in an alcoholic home left shrapnel in her psyche. Then, the first day of her promising legal career, her father – and mentor – was arrested. The drama that followed blew a hole in her heart and ambitions. Anxiety and depression descended. Therapy helped.

Meditation would be the game-changer, but didn't find her until years later, and then not easily. She read volumes by experts, attended their workshops, searching for the "right way" to meditate. Once she discovered there wasn't one way, she slowly cobbled together her own path that included the best parts of all those teachings. She shares this path with readers in Meditation Manual.
