About the author

Maggie Lengsfield Brumley is an Oklahoma State Alumna who was inspired to write this book after an unexpected NICU stay. When her baby was born early at 32 weeks, weighing 3 lbs 15.5 oz and spending five weeks in a level II special care nursery, she was encouraged to help other parents feel empowered during their emotional journey.
