About the author
Carol MacAllister, MFA in Creative Writing and MFA in Fine Arts is an award-winning, widely published author in trade publications in the US, UK, Austrailia, and Ireland. Her genres include, horror/dark fantasy short story and poetry. She has received two mentions in The Year's Best Fantasy & Horror and has won many writing competitons. Her work has been presented in print, on-line, on CDs, on radio, closed cable television, at public venues, including presentations at conferences, workshops, and book stores, and by professional readers in theatrical settings. MacAllister has edited and produced four collections of other's work. Most recent work, Blood Pine, is part of THE CALL OF LOVECRAFT. Past officer of the Garden State Horror Writers, MacAllister is also a member of the AWP, SIC-NJ and local writing groups. Tattoo Day Dreams, a short story, was chosen as one of the favorite 100 stories published by the Chicken Soup series over fifteen years of publications.
