Overview
This book is designed to help students and adults learn Multiplication Tables in a much more efficient manner. It uses a SMART systematic approach that makes learning easier and helps the learner minimize the number of hours required to learn this important subject matter. This book helps the student eliminate useless time spent on just trying to memorize 144 (12 x 12) different Multiplication facts. My methods are explained throughout the book. Less time = happier student!!!
Description
Many parents, like yourself, have children whom have struggled with Multiplication Tables in past years. Now, with increasing demands for a curriculum aimed to serve a Capitalist society, students are bombarded with new ideas aimed at the corporate world, and are struggling even more. As a result, they suffer from information overload leading to gaps in their knowledge of basic educational concepts that are central to Building a Solid Foundation. Across the spectrum, from Elementary to grade 12, students need more than time permits in school, to consolidate what they have learned. However, with busy schedules for parents and students alike, there is a need for a better system that saves time and makes sense. The approach that I take in this book does just that. It greatly minimizes the number of hours required to learn Multiplication Tables and eliminates useless time spent on just trying to memorize 144 (12 x 12) different Multiplication facts. It also uses a SMART systematic approach that makes learning easier. Furthermore, it makes learning more fun for the student. I speak to the students directly, throughout the book, to make way for the opportunity to be right there with them giving them a sense of encouragement and support.
About the author
I was born and raised in a small town called Stoneville, located near Gander Newfoundland. While living there I attended Geoffrey Shaw Collegiate High School. It was here that I began writing, but it was poems that I mainly wrote, as a means of expressing some of my views on various subjects. After graduating from Shaw, I went to Memorial University of Newfoundland and trained to be a High School Teacher. During my teaching career I taught a variety of subjects, but I mostly taught Mathematics, English, and Art to Elementary, Intermediate, and High School students. I did this for 15 years. I am now a Franchise Broker/Consultant helping people fill their dreams of business ownership. I have also taken up my passion again for writing. I am presently working on two other books as well. I hope to continue writing, drawing and painting, in the years to come.
