Overview
This book is the culmination of 30 years of poetry writing, off and on, happy and sad, for better or worse till in dreams do we part. The author has structured it in eras and as such it moves through moments with the unsure first steps of youth, through the loves and struggles of adolescence and adulthood in an opening spiral as poetic rhythms are found and flexed and the wings of promise are opened to take flight into the present and beyond. Many forms and themes are explored but always a sensuality pervades, mingling senses in a lush tapestry of longing and desire that we hope the reader takes with them as they slip into the arms of Morphia.

About the author
Daemeon Pratt was born and raised primarily in Maine. After studying theater in college he descended as many do onto the star soaked streets and beneath the swaying palms of sunny los angeles for 12 wonder filled years before following his heart back east. He currently lives in Massachusetts with his love, their three cats Cleopatera, Nairobi and Catsablanca, Alaware the fish and their amazing son Julian. This is his first book.
