Lulu and her Aunt Bee is a story about a young horse who's family is unique. With the help of her Aunt Bee, Lulu discovers that "family" can mean an assortment of things and Lulu is right where she is supposed to be in this world and is loved by so many.

Lulu is getting older and starting to question her place in this great big world. The family she has always known is different than other families and she just cannot wrap her head around it. For some reason lately, it just doesn't make sense. How can family members look different from each-other? How can they not share the same name? Join Lulu and Aunt Bee as they navigate through a tough conversation about unique family dynamics.

Brittany's stories bring to the forefront common childhood phenomena and the key role families play in supporting children through those tough times. She hopes her books give families a way to connect that will promote emotional intelligence and create a true bond.
