About the author


Author Suzanne Myers is an educational researcher, consultant, and author. She holds Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Secondary English Education, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. She currently works as an Assistant Research Professor at The University of Kansas in Lawrence, where she lives with her husband, five kids, and three cats.

Illustrator Sara Rich is a scholar, artist, and author. She holds a BFA from the University of Kansas, an MA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Ph.D. from the University of Leuven in Belgium. Sara is currently Assistant Professor of Honors at Coastal Carolina University. She lives with her fellow beasts, Keema and Nanook, in a little blue house in the middle of the swamp.
