Mac Lane is an expert at not knowing what's going on within his own household, and is often called one of the great humorists of our time....mainly by his mother. First published in The High Point Enterprise, and later in the Greensboro News & Record, (both North Carolina newspapers) Lane's pieces are sometimes silly and often thoughtful, but never boring. Mac Lane is an expert at not knowing what's going on his own household, and is often called one of the great humorists of our time....mainly by his mother. 

His wife and three daughters have given him lots of material which has appeared regularly in the High Point Enterprise and the Greensboro News & Record. 

He lives in High Point, NC, works in the Home Furnishings Industry and was educated at Appalachian State and the McCallie School for Boys in Chattanooga, TN.
