Overview
"Love's Song" tugs at the heartstrings telling the story of Stacy McFarland, who had a part-time husband, is now widowed, and left a single mom to raise her three year old daughter. Colt Ryder is a country-western singer, who lives life on the road. Not at all her lifestyle. However, Colt wants her, and her best friend's chance of breaking into the music business rides on it.
Description
Colt Ryder is used to his country-western singing stardom attracting women, not scaring them away, as it does pretty Stacy McFarland. Nor, is he used to competing against a dead man's mistakes. But both are happening with Stacy. She already has had what she calls a part-time husband, been widowed, and left a single mom to raise a cute three year old daughter, while holding down her job as a kindergarten teacher. If there's ever to be another marriage, she wants a full-time husband. She doesn't think Colt's lifestyle fits that criteria at all! Although she doesn't know what to do with him, she's got him, and knows her best friend's chance of breaking into the music business rests on it. For all her hesitancy, when Colt kisses her, he can feel the fire and longing she doesn't voice. Convincing her of his suitability, however, is going to be a monumental task.
