Overview
In Love Your Heart, Diana von Welanetz Wentworth guides readers through a succinct course in caring for their physical hearts by nourishing those of their spirit. A heart-attack survivor, television chef, keynote speaker, and the author and coauthor of nine books including the Chicken Soup for the Soul Cookbook, and Chicken Soup to Inspire the Body and Soul, Diana draws from a wealth of life experiences in designing her uplifting heart-care program. Each chapter of Love Your Heart is devoted to a spiritual exploration of a recommendation of the American Heart Association, with explicit instructions for specific practices that will nurture readers at every level of their being. Woven throughout the book is the author’s premise that the red thread of folklore connecting each of us to one another is a metaphor for the red thread of our bloodstream. With poignant personal stories, humor, and wise advice from the heart, Diana reveals for readers how to fortify the red thread that courses through their bodies, while experiencing, more and more deeply, the ineffable red thread that connect us as one.
