Love the Home You're In

After the death of her father, Cybele Masterman (Bele) looked after her family home single-handedly at age sixteen. Initially she was overwhelmed when the roof leaked, hotwater system dropped through ceiling, walls collapsed, trees destroyed the sewers, termites attacked and lightning struck. However, she was determined to hold onto the family home not having much money, so she kept on going. She learned how to wield a chainsaw, sledgehammer, angle grinder and paintbrush and slowly fell in love with her home all over again. Now she and her husband have the huge privilege of raising their two boys (and some chickens) in the home she grew up in.
