Description

"Love Layne and the Story of Eddie Spaghetti" is a delightful story about a 10-year-old who helps his school bus driver during a time of need. The driver, Eddie Spaghetti, is the kindest person imaginable. He always greets the kids as they get onto his bus, remembers their names, their pets' names, cares for them, and is overall the nicest bus driver in the community. One day, Eddie seems more withdrawn and is completely unresponsive to the kids. When Layne attempts to figure out what is causing Eddie's sudden change, he discovers that Eddie's dog, Bear, has passed away. Layne then takes it upon himself to cheer Eddie up, and with the help of other students, parents, and the administration, Layne begins his mission to raise money for Eddie to adopt a new dog. When Layne strikes a deal with the principal, he gains an opportunity to address the entire school with the request to raise money for Eddie.
