About The Author

Jakita White was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama to Mrs. Betty Johnson. She is the mother of 2 wonderful adult children, Brittany and Javar. Although she didn't know her father she was supported by tons of family. Her Aunt Barbara Christopher is also a big influence on her life. She has been a church kid and academic scholar from a very young age which fueled her interested in nursing. Currently she is the volunteer coordinator for Kindred Hospice. She also is an administrator, leader and everything else that is needed in the many Christian and women organizations that she is a part of. She is a proud Domestic Violence survivor and a current Lupus fighter.
