About the author
Known online as TheFolksinger, William (or Bill) Evenhouse has been a creator and performer of folksongs for many years. He was born and raised in the USA, educated at Calvin College, The University of Michigan, Michigan State, and other institutions as well. He worked for many years in Nigeria as a teacher of English, a linguist, and a musician. At present he lives in Cairo, Egypt with his wife Nelle. Part time he teaches guitar at The American University in Cairo. In addition to music, Bill is an accomplished creative writer and has won several awards for short stories and plays in the USA.
