Pike Point on Lost Woman Lake has been the center of the Maki family universe since 1922. Ray Maki, grandson to the original owner, has spent all of his thirty-three years living on the rugged edge of a million acre wilderness - the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of northeastern Minnesota.
