About the author
John is a retired public employee who resides in Santa Fe, NM. He began writing stories he had been telling to friends and family for years. Retirement gave John the time he needed to write the stories that occupied his thoughts for many years. Writing the stories allowed John to discovered an inner voice he had no idea existed. The stories seemed to jump on the page revealing to John inner truths and at the same time gave him the vehicle to venerate his relatives and the barrio that shaped his life. The resulting book in a piece of life carved out in the barrios of South Valley Albuquerque.
