About The Author

Dick Boerger grew up in western Ohio on a farm, served two years in the U. S. Army, and earned an undergraduate accounting degree from The Ohio State University. He spent 35 years in the public accounting profession--20 years in Chicago, and 15 years in Tulsa where he lived until May 2020. He now lives at St. Anthony's Senior Living, in Kansas City, Missouri. He wrote Loretta's Lament as a tribute to his deceased wife, Loretta, with the support of his three daughters--Linda, Lisa, and Mara. As such, it is hoped that Loretta's Lament will be a living legacy of the Boerger families.
