Lola's Friends

Kelly Prunty lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, Kevin, and their five children. She and Kevin swore that they would never get a dog. But they broke down during the pandemic when they were stuck at home and their daughter, Grace, wouldn't stop begging. It was one of the best decisions they ever made and they can't get enough of Lola. When not doing the mom thing, Kelly loves to read, travel, play the guitar, and dabble in anything and everything creative.

Henry Prunty, the book's illustrator, is Kelly's son. He is the second oldest of five siblings and attends Marquette High School in St. Louis. He enjoys drawing, playing on the high school football team, playing golf, fishing and volunteering in his community. He is considering pursuing architecture and design or pre-law studies in college. A natural comedian, if you need some comic relief, Henry is your guy. This is his debut as an illustrator.
