About the author
Connie Gleason, Masters Degree in Adult Education from Indiana University, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), Laughter Leader and clown. She has worked in the travel industry all her adult life as an airline employee, travel agent, tour escort, and was an adjunct professor in the Hospitality Management School at the University of Central Florida. Connie grew up in Kokomo, Indiana and lived for 20 years in Indianapolis before transferring to Orlando with the airlines. Connie and Ken took full advantage of the flying benefits visiting the Orient, Mexico, Hawaii, and Europe several times. Once she became ill, she was grounded. How she overcame the obstacles of living as a chemically sensitive person with breathing problems led to RVing and ultimately life on the road. Giving back is a high priority for Connie and she volunteers at many events wherever she travels as her health allows. She is a member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in Orlando. She volunteers in summers with the Swannanoa Gathering, Montreat, and the Roads Scholars programs in North Carolina and Florida.
