About The Author
Rev. Vickie Gipple is a minister, author, and inspirational speaker who has devoted her life to sharing the transforming love of Christ with the Deaf and hearing communities alike. Residing in Garden Grove, California, she continues to serve faithfully through Unforgotten Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit outreach organization she co-founded with her late husband, Donald "Jethro" Sickles.
Unforgotten Ministries exists to reach the marginalized through three guiding principles: Encourage, Equip, and Evangelize. Its mission reflects Rev. Gipple's lifelong calling to bring the message of redemption and grace to those who have felt unseen, forgotten, or unheard.
Today, Rev. Gipple ministers actively with Unforgotten Ministries while assisting her husband, Rev. Bill Gipple, who pastors the Orange County Deaf Church in Santa Ana, California. Together, they share a deep love for ministry and people, serving side by side to empower believers to live boldly and authentically for Christ. Married since February 2015, they remain joyfully devoted to each other and to God's work.
Rev. Gipple also ministers as a guest speaker to Deaf congregations and events across the nation, where her testimony of resilience and renewal continues to impact lives. Born Deaf herself, she understands firsthand the beauty and challenges of living between two worlds and uses her story to inspire others to embrace their God-given identity with confidence and faith.
She is an ordained minister, having been ordained by Dr. Vickie Lee of Saints of Value Ministries, where she also received her Honorary Doctorate of Divinity in July 2015. Her ministry journey has been marked by recognition and honor, including being named the recipient of the Annie McElroy Servant Heart Award at the first annual Spirit of Excellence Award Banquet in December 2011, hosted by Ms. Bernice Allen, author of Sign Me The Book: Touchstone for Women.
In May 2022, Rev. Gipple was officially ordained with the Assemblies of God, affirming her continued dedication to teaching, mentoring, and pastoring with humility and grace. Her greatest joy, however, remains serving alongside her husband and nurturing the people God places in her care.
Beyond her titles and honors, Rev. Gipple describes herself simply as a woman transformed by the love of God, a servant, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is blessed with two grown children, Anthony and Faith, and a beloved granddaughter, Lili.
The blue logo she carries as part of her ministry identity symbolizes her heart resting on the throne of Christ's love, a visual reminder of her life's message and the essence of her book: "Live your life with God."
Through her writing, speaking, and everyday walk of faith, Rev. Gipple continues to live that message out loud, encouraging others to trust that no matter their past, God's grace is more than enough to redeem, restore, and renew every life surrendered to Him.
